This is PART 3 of my entree to The Great Plushie Contest.


I was very pleased when I heard about this competition, because I had begun this plush a couple months beforehand, but didn't have much of a drive to finish it until the contest was announced.

^_^ for those who may not know much about me or my characters, this is Mayson, the lead character from my manga Faded Brightness.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible, but I really would like to make notice of all the different details I put into this. I'll mention them by the numbered photos.

the jacket has an embroidered logo on the back

The cufflinks were made from buttons and snap attachments which were sewn in place.
They are removable.

Because the jacket has a pocket on each side, it had to be lined.
This allowed me to make a disappear seam to hide the vertical seem running up the side by the underarm.

20 - 21)

I embroidered a custom tag which was sewn into the cuff of the left sleeve. It can be tucked in, concealing it.
(I have never seen this done before, so I thought it would be something interesting to try.)
