Let me say this first:


THIS IS A JOKE. A PARODY.
I DID NOT MAKE THE ORIGINAL 4 IMAGES USED.

This is kind of like a photo manipulation, but with drawings instead of photos. :D

I did it for the luls.


EDIT:
I worked in the Wolf Sonic in place of Wolf Link, to add to the LOVELY IRONY OF IT ALL! :heart:
EDIT AGAIN:
updated it to jazz up the "ring-force" and bump up the textures and color balance. Also made some more edits, redrawing 90% or it so there is a larger version for print.


I take no credit for the originals.
So don't even try to flame at me. m'kay? Just laugh at the picture after reading how it came to be.

Once upon a time...
I was sitting at work one night. It was slow. I was chatting with a co-worker of mine (who ironically used to work at Nintendo). He sends me a link to this:

I promptly comment on the fact that the background art reminds me of Twilight Princess. Then how funny it is that he ALSO has a sword. And how it seems that the series as of late has just been trying to do numerous things that other series' do well, yet fails. Then Sonic Team wonders why the game is a flop. I then proclaim that what they should be trying to duplicate is the original first few Sonic games from the good old Genesis days.

(Sorry, I disn't intend for this to become a rant, but it felt oh so good to say that in a public place.)

I then put one "Twilight Princess background" and one "sword" and one "Werewolf" together, then--

TA-FREKKIN-DAH.
Sonic is trying Legend of Zelda now.

wahaha.. I know how you feel about Sega.. even the gameplay vids of Sonic Unleashed make me sad.. stupid Sega with their Automatic Rollercoaster with Bottomless pits games =__=

I hope your picture won't get matured (like my SEGA == Diarrhea pic) by some 13 year old Sonic fangirl..

Yes, exactly. :D Hahaha!
I don't think I can ever play a game where pressing a button, and simply trying to actively play it, will cause the character to die. It's nothing but a mildly interactive movie at that point. Not a game.

LOL! Well, hopefully the lack of mature content won't get it pulled. But I could see someone whining about it to the admins in retaliation. :) But hey, if they want to spoil my fun by saying not enough of my original work is in there, then I'll counter it by showing them the recording of it. I had to redraw over it quite a few times to get it in that same style as the Zelda poster! What a pain! :D (maybe I will upload the video to youtube for those who don't have openCanvas4.5)

But I have a new idea for this, to add more to it! :)

Agreed. It is a bit depressing that what you say is so true. I think I speak for everyone when I say that it's really depressing to see my childhood hero go to shit like this. :(

And don't get me wrong, I actually bought one (only one) of their recent games, out of very weakened loyalty. And my boyfriend must have at least 4 from the past decade til now.

:| Maybe all of the fans should have a boycott. I could see this being the next tuna.
